Starfleet Academy Season 1 Finale – “It’s Always Been You”
Going into the Season 1 finale of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, there were a lot of questions hanging in the air. The show has spent its first season building complicated relationships, rivalries, and emotional baggage for its cadets, so it felt inevitable that the finale would finally have to confront them. As the episode begins, I found myself wondering the same things many fans probably were. Are Tarima and Caleb going to move forward with their relationship? Where do Genesis and Caleb actually stand after everything that happened between them? What’s next for Ake and Anisha after so many years? Is Nus Braka going to be our villain forever? And maybe the question that means the most to me: are Sam and Genesis ever going to work things out? The finale begins in a way that is nothing but intentional.
